Making Memories with “The Mitten”: Fun and Educational Activities for Young Learners

One thing I love about preschool is how simple and inexpensive it can be! I love reading with my babies and then pulling out a few learning activities. My 4-year-old daughter begs to do “school” everyday like her big brothers. She loves engaging crafts and activities. She will spend hours just coloring and playing with sensory bins.

Since we are right in the dead of winter and I am about to have our fifth baby very soon, I am trying to find new and exciting things for her and her 2-year-old brother to do every week. That’s why, I have rounded up The Mitten Crafts and Activities.

The Mitten

You’re going to need to read The Mitten. If you don’t own it, you can buy online or check your local library, though this is a popular time of year to borrow it. I have also provided the youtube read aloud.
